4 Seasons Club
Sanctuary Lakes 4 Seasons Club for Children and Families
Families including your children will learn and share experiences in our magnificent environment using whatever camera they own or borrow. For our children, digital cameras are the new diary with children and families recording their lives like never before. Children will take images that will last their lifetime.
Each season we will hold an event where families will get to learn more about using their cameras including ipads. We will also discover how fascinating the wildlife that shares our environment really is.
The program leader is local resident Bob Winters, one of Australia's most experienced and published environmental educators, as well as a wildlife photographer.
4 Seasons Club Winter report
A dozens families enjoyed the sun on a cold winter’s morning along one of our gorgeous beaches. Beside our lake, we had a load of fun exploring the beach and park with our cameras. It’s always amazing how creative children are using their cameras. The insects, spiders and microscopes were a hit. At the conclusion, a hot sausage sizzle went down very well on this cool day.
Next 4 Seasons Club event
The next 4 Seasons Club will be held in Spring. We are still to decide on the date and location. Please come back to the website to find out. The information will also be emailed to residents.
Joining 4 Seasons Club
Any family can join the 4 Seasons Club. Grandparents with grandkids are also welcome. It is suitable for children from 6 to 18. Our program will also help parents with their photography. The camera you normally use is suitable for our program and this includes mobile phones and tablets as well as small pocket cameras along with larger SLR cameras. We usually have cameras you can borrow for the day.
We will post children’s photos from our events on our photo gallery.
Sanctuary Lakes Community Centre: We need your photos to make a mural on a blank wall in our new community centre. We are asking you to upload photos of your favourite places in Sanctuary Lakes. While it must be outside, it can be views, sunsets, gardens, wildlife or anything you like about our gorgeous environment.
